Why join?

The transition from GP training to working as a qualified GP comes with a lot of excitement and new challenges.

What do we need to do for performers list? Where can we look for jobs? What do we need to do for appraisals? Where can I get CPD points? ...and the rest. 

 

If you're thinking of working in G&W, you might be wondering how things work here! What are the practices like here? What referral pathways are in place?

We want First 5 G&W to be a welcoming and friendly community to support each other, network, and learn together.

This members only website will act as our platform for discussions, share tips, local clinical resources, organise events and much more.

Who is it for?

The group is aimed for newly qualified GPs in their first 5 years or so in Guildford and Waverley, and we would also welcome any current GP trainees who are thinking about the life after CCT.

​

We are supported by our local GP Tutor, Dr Flis Smee.
